Short Term Medical Plans are Plans that can be taken on either an individual or family for a short period of time — Up to either 6 months or, in somes cases, 12 months. They are month-to-month plans that have very basic underwriting; therefore, the applications are very short and easy to understand.

They can work if you have recently aquired a position that has waiting periods before benefits are offered to you.
