WHAT IS SHORT TERM MEDICAL AND IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
Short Term Medical Plans are Plans that can be taken on either an individual or family for a short period of time — Up to either 6 months or, in somes cases, 12 months. They are month-to-month plans that have very basic underwriting; therefore, the applications are very short and easy to understand.
Short Term Medical Plans are ideal for people between group plans or other health coverages. They can work if you have recently aquired a position that has waiting periods before benefits are offered to you. They can be appropriate for a new graduate or even if you've recently applied for a permanant plan but are waiting to be approved. Ask yourself these questions:

Do I need continuity of coverage?
Does my current plan cover me for the locations I may be going to?
